Chosun University Hospital Selected for Neonatal Intensive Care Outdated Equipment Replacement Support Project

View original imageChosun University Hospital announced on July 22 that it was recently selected as a final recipient in the '2025 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Outdated Equipment Replacement Support Project' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
This project aims to replace outdated medical equipment at 13 institutions designated between 2009 and 2012 among the nationwide neonatal intensive care regional centers designated under the Maternal and Child Health Act. The goal is to maintain a stable treatment infrastructure for high-risk newborns. Through this support project, Chosun University Hospital has secured a total of 200 million won in funding, including both national and local government contributions.
With this support, Chosun University Hospital plans to replace two outdated ventilators in its neonatal intensive care unit.
Kim Jin-ho, Director of Chosun University Hospital, stated, "With this national funding support, we are able to further enhance the quality of our treatment environment," and added, "We will continue to establish a professional and sustainable medical system for high-risk mothers and newborns, further strengthening the regional medical safety net for childbirth and neonatal care."
