POSCO Group Donates 2 Billion KRW for Heavy Rainfall Recovery Efforts

POSCO Group will donate 2 billion KRW in relief funds to support areas affected by heavy rainfall.
According to POSCO Group on July 22, POSCO Holdings, POSCO, POSCO International, POSCO E&C, POSCO Future M, and POSCO DX have joined together to donate 2 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association.
The funds will be used for emergency relief and recovery efforts in regions damaged by the heavy rainfall, as well as to provide daily necessities and secure safe housing for those displaced by the disaster.
Jang Inhwa, Chairman of POSCO Group, stated, "We hope this support will help the affected regions recover from the severe damage caused by the heavy rainfall and return to normal life."
POSCO Group previously provided 2 billion KRW each for wildfire relief in Yeongnam in March this year, for nationwide heavy rainfall and Gangneung wildfire relief in 2023, and also donated 2 billion KRW each for recovery efforts following heavy rainfall in the Seoul metropolitan area and wildfires in North Gyeongsang and Gangwon in 2022, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
