Killed Son with Homemade Firearm and Fled... Ten Firearms Found in Vehicle
Ten homemade firearms were found in the suspect's vehicle after he killed his son with a gun in Songdo, Incheon.
The Seoul Bangbae Police Station announced that they urgently arrested a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, at around 12:20 a.m. on July 21 in the Bangbae-dong area of Seocho-gu, Seoul, as he was fleeing by car.
Mr. A is suspected of shooting and killing his son, who was in his 30s, with a firearm at an apartment in Songdo International City, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, at 9:31 p.m. the previous day. The son, who suffered gunshot wounds, was transported to the hospital but died.
According to the police, a total of ten homemade firearms were found in the passenger seat, back seat, and trunk of Mr. A's vehicle.

The police began a full-scale investigation of Mr. A at 10:00 a.m. on July 21 and are focusing on uncovering the motive for the crime, the circumstances surrounding the production of the homemade firearms, and whether the crime was premeditated.
