Haeundae Bumin Hospital (Director: Kang Daehwan) announced that it will be strengthening its surgical care capabilities by recruiting Sanghong Choi, a surgeon, starting in August 2025.
Chief Choi graduated from Kosin University College of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Kosin University Gospel Hospital, where he also served as a clinical assistant professor, combining both patient care and teaching. He later worked as the chief of surgery at Busan Bumin Hospital, gaining extensive experience in various surgeries and clinical practices.
He possesses a wealth of clinical experience and expertise in advanced surgical techniques across a broad range of surgical fields, including laparoscopic surgery (such as gallbladder, hernia, and appendix procedures), venous diseases, and vascular access procedures.
Chief Choi stated, "I will prioritize patients' quality of life in every aspect of diagnosis and surgery, and strive to become a trusted surgeon through accurate diagnosis and prompt treatment," adding, "I will do my utmost to help ensure a healthy life for local residents."
