"Spicy Happiness in Noodles"... Nongshim Unveils New Global Slogan for Shin Ramyun
Full-scale Launch of Global Integrated Campaign
On July 21, Nongshim announced that it has established the global brand slogan for Shin Ramyun as 'Spicy Happiness In Noodles' and will strengthen communication with consumers worldwide.
This is the first time Nongshim has introduced a unified brand slogan for Shin Ramyun both domestically and internationally. The slogan utilizes the first letter of the English name 'SHIN' and conveys the meaning of 'spicy happiness contained in noodles.'
Nongshim developed the brand slogan by focusing on the 'cultural value of Shin Ramyun' identified through recent brand recognition surveys and interviews conducted with global consumers. International consumers gave high marks to Shin Ramyun's practicality and emotional satisfaction, describing it as "a spicy flavor that can be enjoyed with friends from diverse cultures, making it a must-have food when traveling," "a product that pairs well with any ingredient at home, such as cheese, mayonnaise, or steak, while maintaining its unique spiciness," and "the first food that comes to mind when feeling tired or stressed, thanks to its simple preparation."
Nongshim will begin applying the new brand slogan sequentially to the packaging designs of 18 Shin Ramyun products, including Shin Ramyun, Shin Ramyun Tumba, Shin Ramyun Black, and Shin Ramyun Geonmyeon, both in Korea and overseas, starting this week. The company also plans to use the slogan in its global Shin Ramyun experience stores, 'Shin Ramyun Bunsik,' which will be expanded to Southeast Asia and Europe in the future.
From next month, Nongshim will launch a full-scale marketing campaign that connects the appeal of Shin Ramyun to the daily lives and cultures of global consumers, promoting the message of 'spicy happiness of Shin Ramyun.' In October, the company will participate in 'ANUGA,' the world's largest food exhibition held in Germany, to further enhance the brand value and competitiveness of Shin Ramyun.
