Nexen Tire Expands OE Supply for Kia EV6 and Tasman
'Nfera Supreme S' and 'Roadian HTX2'
On July 21, Nexen Tire announced that it will supply original equipment (OE) tires for Kia's 'EV6' produced at the automaker's plant in Georgia, United States.
Since 2021, Nexen Tire has been supplying OE tires for both domestic and export versions of the EV6, and with this latest supply, the company has expanded its portfolio to include locally produced models for the North American market.
The premium comfort tire 'Nfera Supreme S' being supplied for this model is an all-season tire developed to meet the needs of drivers seeking a quiet and smooth ride. It provides a balanced combination of low noise, driving stability, and low rolling resistance. In addition to the Kia EV3 and EV4, it is also fitted to premium sedans.
Additionally, Nexen Tire recently expanded its supply of OE tires for the Kia 'Tasman'?previously limited to vehicles exported to Central and South America?to include the domestic market, as well as global regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The 'Roadian HTX2' fitted to the Tasman is a tire designed specifically for SUVs and pickups, delivering stable performance in a variety of driving conditions. It offers a well-balanced combination of quietness, durability, and handling performance.
Nexen Tire is strengthening its collaboration with Kia by supplying OE tires for all models in Kia's EV series, from the EV3 to the EV9. The company is also continuously expanding its partnerships with global automakers, earning recognition for its technology and quality in the global market. Since starting with Porsche in 2016, Nexen Tire has supplied OE tires for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and other major brands.
