To address the issue of public facilities being defaced by illegal advertisements, the district installed anti-adhesive devices at 290 locations. The installation targets include utility poles, telecommunication poles, traffic lights, and signposts located along major roads such as Nangok-ro, Bongcheon-ro, and Sillim-ro, where illegal mobile advertisements are frequently posted.
The newly installed anti-adhesive devices are designed to make it difficult to attach illegal advertisements. Even if something is attached, it can be easily removed without leaving traces, thanks to the material used, making the devices effective in both preventing and removing illegal advertisements.
Meanwhile, the district is also operating a "compensation system for collecting illegal mobile advertisements" to maintain the anti-adhesive devices and promote a culture of urban cleanliness. Under this system, local residents can collect illegal banners and posters and submit them to the local community center, receiving compensation based on the type and quantity of items collected.
Additionally, the district conducts ongoing guidance and enforcement activities against illegal advertisements to provide residents with a pleasant urban environment.
