From Next Month, OTP Secondary Authentication Required for Corporate Electronic Registration Applications
National Court Administration: "Enhancing Transparency and Reliability"
From now on, a secondary identity verification process using OTP (One-Time Password) will be mandatory when applying for corporate electronic registration.
On July 18, the National Court Administration announced, "We have introduced OTP as a secondary authentication method to overcome the security vulnerabilities of USB-based authentication and to further verify the applicant's true intent when applying for corporate registration through the Internet Registry Office, and we have completed the system setup."
With this revision, OTP authentication will be required for all electronic registration applications. Applications cannot be completed with only an electronic certificate; an OTP must be entered for each application to finalize authentication.
The specific types and scope of corporate registrations that require OTP authentication, as well as the OTP issuance procedures, can be found on the Internet Registry Office website.
