Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Launches Information Security Awareness Campaign Throughout July
In recognition of July as "Information Security Month," the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is conducting a variety of campaign activities aimed at preventing personal information leaks and raising information security awareness among its executives and employees.
On July 17, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held a workshop at Camp Greaves in Paju, where all executives and employees read aloud a declaration expressing their responsibility and commitment to "personal information protection and information security." In addition, the organization held a "Personal Information Protection Slogan Contest" for executives and employees and awarded prizes to the winners. On July 22, a "Personal Information Protection Pledge Campaign" open to the general public will be held at the Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Institute.

Jo Wonyong, president of Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, stated, "Information security is one of the core elements of trust in public institutions, so continuous and everyday practice is crucial." He added, "Through this campaign, in which all employees participate, we aim not only to strengthen internal security awareness, but also to ensure that residents and tourists can use our organization's platforms and social media with confidence. I ask everyone to prioritize personal information protection and do their utmost in their work."
