The two organizations agreed to work together to identify dark alleyways and crime-prone blind spots, and to implement Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) in order to promote tangible safety measures.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to create a bright and safe city image, eliminate crime-prone blind spots by improving nighttime illumination, and establish a proactive public safety environment. In particular, based on a survey of dark areas, they plan to launch customized illumination improvement projects in earnest within the year.
