HanSujeong Invites Submissions for Garden Plant Exhibition and Evaluation
The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Management Service (hereinafter referred to as HanSujeong) announced on July 16 that it is publicly recruiting plants to be exhibited at the '2025 Korea Garden Plant Exhibition and Evaluation' until August 8.
The Garden Plant Exhibition and Evaluation was planned to introduce new garden plants to the public and to discover outstanding garden plants in order to diversify the range of materials available in the domestic garden market.
The competition is divided into three categories: native plants, domestically developed varieties, and imported varieties. Eligibility to participate is limited to companies or institutions that produce, cultivate, or distribute garden plants.
HanSujeong plans to award the Minister of the Korea Forest Service Award (2 recipients), the HanSujeong President’s Award (8 recipients), and prize money to those who submit plants selected as the Garden Plant of the Year.
The Garden Plant of the Year will be exhibited at the Bonsai Garden of the National Sejong Arboretum from September 16 to 28.
Further details about the competition can be found on the Garden Plant Exhibition and Evaluation website.
