Korea Housing Finance Corporation Announces Housing Finance Research Paper Contest... Up to 3 Million Won Honorarium and Special Prizes
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan) is holding the "2025 Second Half Housing Finance Research Paper Contest" to promote the development of housing welfare policies and academic research in the field of housing finance.
"Housing Finance Research" is a specialized academic journal on housing finance launched by Korea Housing Finance Corporation in 2017, and was selected as a candidate journal for registration in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) by the National Research Foundation of Korea last year.
Any topic related to the corporation's work, including housing finance systems and policies, products, appraisal, and information technology, is eligible for submission.
The contest is open to all researchers, including graduate students. Papers can be submitted through the "Housing Finance Research" online submission system until September 25.
After review, the selected papers will be published in Volume 9, Issue 2 of "Housing Finance Research" in 2025, and an honorarium of up to 3 million won per paper will be awarded. In particular, among papers utilizing HF Housing Finance Statistics, outstanding works will receive a special award in addition to the above: ▲ Grand Prize (1 paper, 2 million won) ▲ Excellence Prize (2 papers, 1 million won each), along with a certificate from the corporation's president.
HF Housing Finance Statistics is a database operated by the research institute under Korea Housing Finance Corporation, where various statistics and surveys can be accessed through the "Housing Finance Statistics System."
An official from the corporation stated, "We expect that empirical research focused on policy beneficiaries will greatly contribute to improving the quality of housing finance and housing welfare systems," and added, "We hope for active participation from researchers."
