Mercedes-Benz Korea Launches Korea-Exclusive Maybach Limited Edition 'Silver Lining'
Official Launch by Mercedes-Benz Korea on July 14
Opening of the Maybach Brand Center Seoul
On July 14, Mercedes-Benz Korea announced the launch of the limited-edition Maybach MANUFAKTUR model, "Silver Lining," to commemorate the opening of the world's first "Maybach Brand Center Seoul" in Korea.
The Silver Lining is available in three models: the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV. These models are exclusively available at the Maybach Brand Center Seoul. As Korea-exclusive limited editions, only 10 units of the Maybach S-Class and one unit each of the other two models will be sold.
All three vehicles feature the highest level of customization options from "MANUFAKTUR," Mercedes-Benz's bespoke vehicle personalization program. MANUFAKTUR allows customers to select special exterior colors and high-quality interior materials according to their preferences and is implemented on the brand's top-tier vehicles.
The Mercedes-Maybach Silver Lining has been crafted to an even higher standard, reflecting the discerning tastes and expectations of Korean customers with its unique color combinations, intricate hand-finished decorations, and detailed interior design.
The exterior features a black pearl body with exclusive Silver Lining silver pinstripes. These meticulously applied pinstripes along the body blend harmoniously with the restrained black color, adding depth to the signature luxury of Maybach vehicles. The interior is adorned with a Silver Lining limited-edition badge.
The interior uses MANUFAKTUR color schemes in combinations of white and black or white and gray, creating a contrast with the exterior. All three models are equipped with two-person rear seats designed for comfort, providing the distinctive comfort expected from Maybach models.
The Maybach S-Class and Maybach GLS are equipped with E-Active Body Control suspension, while the Maybach EQS SUV features AIRMATIC suspension. These systems suppress body roll, pitch, and lift, and individually control the damping force of each wheel, ensuring stable driving and a comfortable ride. All three vehicles use insulation materials, double-laminated glass, and special acoustic foam to reduce noise and vibration, providing an elevated level of interior quietness and ride comfort.
