Actress Kang Seoha (real name Kang Yewon) has passed away after battling stomach cancer. She was 31 years old.
Her agency, MCN Insight, announced that she died on the morning of July 14, 2025.
Kang Seoha graduated from the Acting Department of the Korea National University of Arts. She made her debut in 2012 in the music video "Meol-eojinda" by Yonggamhan Nyeoseokdeul. She began her acting career with the JTBC drama "Seonam Girls' High School Investigators" (2014) and appeared in the KBS drama "Assembly" (2015) and the MBC drama "The Flower in Prison" (2016). She also appeared in the TV novel "Wave, Wave" (2018), "Heart Surgeons" (2018), and "Nobody Knows" (2020).
