Exchange to Provide Up to 10 Million KRW in Research Funding for Securities and Derivatives Studies
The Korea Exchange announced on the 14th that it will provide funding for academic research in the academic and financial sectors through its "Securities·Derivatives Academic Research Support Program." The initiative aims to discover emerging researchers and promote studies in various fields related to the capital market, thereby supporting market development.
The Exchange plans to select up to 11 creative and practical research proposals related to the development of the domestic securities·derivatives market, providing up to 10 million KRW in research funding per project.
Separately, for submitted papers, the Exchange will award a grand prize of up to 7 million KRW and a plaque. The excellence award will grant 5 million KRW, and the encouragement award will provide 3 million KRW, respectively.

Members of academic societies related to securities·derivatives, professionals in the financial industry, holders of master's or doctoral degrees, and other financial experts are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted through the Exchange's Securities·Derivatives Research Center website until September 19.
