Taeung Park, Chairman of Noksuh Forum, will give a lecture in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do on the direction and challenges of the artificial intelligence era.
On July 14, Jangseong-gun announced that it has invited Chairman Park to deliver a lecture titled "AI Era: Challenges and Responses" at the "Jangseong Academy," which will be held at the small theater of the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center at 4 p.m. on July 17. Chairman Park plans to explain the operating principles and definition of artificial intelligence, examine its impact on society as a whole, and discuss the attitude needed to prepare for the future.
Chairman Park graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Seoul National University and previously served as Vice President of KTH and Vice President of Open Cyber University. He is currently the head of "Questions for All Q" at the Institute for Democracy. In 2021, he received the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit for his contributions to the information and communications sector. His publications include "Taeung Park's AI Lecture 2025" and "Waking Up in an Advanced Country."
Launched in 1994, Jangseong Academy is the world's longest-running regular lecture program. Participation is open to the public without prior registration, and the lecture will be broadcast live on Jangseong-gun's YouTube channel. Lectures for which speakers have agreed to video sharing will also be available for replay afterward.
