Ko Youngdong, a community tax accountant who served as the instructor, increased students' interest through interactive teaching methods such as quizzes and Q&A sessions. The program not only helped students understand the overall tax system, but also provided an opportunity to explore the career of a tax accountant.
Students who participated in the program said, "This was the first time we realized how closely taxes are related to our everyday lives," and added, "We used to think taxes were difficult, but this education made it easy to understand."
Cho On-suk, head of Tax Division 1, stated, "Tax education is the starting point for fostering a proper sense of tax responsibility," and added, "We will continue to develop systematic programs tailored to the level of youth to help them grow into responsible economic citizens."
