Gwangju Students Stand at the Sites of Nobel Science Achievements
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will operate the "To the World, To the Future, The Path of Nobel Scientists" program from July 13 to July 21, visiting Germany and Switzerland.
Sixteen second-year high school students will participate, attending science lectures, touring laboratories, and exploring campuses at institutions such as CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research), the Max Planck Institute, and ETH Zurich. The students will also receive special lectures and career mentoring at EPFL (?cole Polytechnique F?d?rale de Lausanne) and ETH Zurich. At the Max Planck Institute, they will participate in lectures and hands-on laboratory experiences.
Last month, at Gwangju Science High School, teacher Kim Dongsik explained the principles of particle acceleration to students participating in the international exchange program "To the World, To the Future, The Path of Nobel Scientists" during the 4th preliminary training session.
