This donation of automatic blood pressure monitors was initiated by the Yeoju City Health Promotion Division, aiming to improve the health management and medical accessibility of seniors. It was carried out in consultation with SK Hynix. The donated blood pressure monitors will be installed, one unit each, in 70 senior centers across 12 towns, townships, and neighborhoods, with consideration given to the number of users, medical vulnerability, and accessibility to nearby health resources.
The Yeoju City Health Promotion Division plans to provide comprehensive support beyond simply installing the devices. This includes instructions and practical training on how to use the monitors safely and easily, as well as the operation of various health programs linked to the devices.
Lee Chungwoo, mayor of Yeoju City, said, "I find it very meaningful that we are able to create real changes for the health of our seniors together with businesses," and added, "We will continue to expand health and welfare projects in cooperation with both the public and private sectors."
