By using drone technology, the center efficiently controlled pests and delivered the harvested corn to neighbors in need within the community.
The donated corn will be distributed to local welfare institutions, including community child centers, senior welfare facilities, welfare facilities for people with disabilities, mental health welfare centers, and free meal centers, through the Gijang Food Bank under the Gijang Regional Self-Sufficiency Center.
An official from the Gijang County Agricultural Technology Center said, "We hope this corn donation will provide some comfort to vulnerable groups in the community during the hot summer," and added, "We will continue to take the lead in realizing smart farming by actively introducing various new agricultural technologies, including drones, in the field."
