Gwangju University RISE Project Group Launches Live Commerce Support Project for Small Businesses
The RISE Project Group at Gwangju University announced on July 10, 2025, that it will operate the 2025 Gwangju University RISE Small Business Live Commerce Support Project, with the goal of revitalizing the local economy and strengthening the self-sufficiency of small businesses.
This project will involve 10 small businesses from Gwangju, including "Goidol" and "Secom." It will be held three times (on the 10th, 16th, and 21st) at the Woorideuriyagi Studio Co., Ltd.
The live commerce program will not only provide broadcast support, but will also assist with promotions, online marketing, and the creation and renewal of detailed product pages. Through these efforts, the program aims to help participants adapt to the digital era, increase sales, and strengthen their competitiveness for sustainable growth.
Roh Sunshik, head of the project group, stated, "This program is designed to help early-stage and prospective entrepreneurs build real competitiveness in a changing environment," adding, "It will serve as an opportunity to expand new sales channels and increase revenue for small businesses."
