Yeongcheon Byeolmu Art Center Opens Two-Person Painting Invitational "Byeolbyeol Garden"... Over 40 Works by Jang Sunhyang and Kim Eunjung on Display
The city of Yeongcheon announced that Byeolmu Art Center opened the first two-person painting artists' invitational exhibition, "Byeolbyeol Garden," on July 7.
This exhibition, which runs from July 7 to August 1, is designed to support the creative activities of local artists and to allow citizens to experience culture and the arts more closely. Visitors can view around 40 paintings by artists Jang Sunhyang and Kim Eunjung, featuring apples and dandelions as their main subjects.
On the 7th, the opening event of the two-person painting artists' invitational exhibition "Byeolbyeol Garden" was held at Byeolmu Art Center.
View original imageIn addition, on the 25th, a hands-on activity will be held as part of the exhibition-linked program "Art Exploration in Byeolbyeol Garden," where visitors can explore parts of the artworks and express their own sense of color.
Choi Kimoon, Mayor of Yeongcheon, said, "I hope this exhibition will give citizens a chance to step away from their daily routines, feel the warmth of artistic sensibility, and find some relaxation in their lives." He added, "We will continue to develop this space as a hub of local culture where citizens and art can communicate together."
Meanwhile, Byeolmu Art Center is a multi-purpose cultural space equipped with studios, exhibition halls, and a small performance hall, serving as a hub where local artists and residents can experience and share a variety of cultural and artistic activities.
The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free.
