Hanul Unit 1 Reaches 100% Output After Completing 26th Scheduled Preventive Maintenance
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Seyong) announced that Hanul Unit 1 (pressurized water reactor, 950,000 kW class), which entered scheduled preventive maintenance on May 23, resumed power generation on July 6 and reached 100% output at 13:20 on July 8.
During the scheduled preventive maintenance period, Hanul Unit 1 completed statutory inspections in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act, replaced fuel, and conducted inspections and maintenance of equipment, thereby improving the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
