Incheon Airport Named 'World's Best Airport Staff' by UK Skytrax
Winner of 'Food and Beverage Offer of the Year' Award
Incheon International Airport has received the 'World's Best Airport Staff' award from Skytrax, a UK-based global aviation consulting and evaluation organization.
According to the aviation industry on July 6, Incheon Airport ranked first among more than 570 airports worldwide in the airport staff service category of the 'World Airport Awards 2025' recently announced by Skytrax, winning in both the global and Asia regional categories.
Singapore Changi Airport ranked second in the world, Hong Kong Airport ranked third, and Tokyo Haneda and Narita Airports in Japan took fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Skytrax conducted a survey of passengers from over 100 countries from August last year to February this year to determine the rankings. The Best Airport Staff Award is given based on a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of all staff services (including attitude, friendliness, and efficiency) provided by employees who directly interact with customers at airport counters, immigration and security checks, shops, and food and beverage outlets.
In addition, Incheon Airport received the 'Airport FAB (Food and Beverage) Awards' main prize for 'Food & Beverage Offer of the Year' from The Moodie Davitt Report, a UK-based duty-free and F&B magazine. In this category as well, the airport won both the overall and Asia-Pacific regional awards.
Incheon Airport explained that these consecutive awards were the result of not only strengthening its core airport functions but also achieving improved passenger service since the 'Phase 4 Grand Opening' at the end of last year.
