Ulsan City Recruiting Applicants for Student Loan Interest Support for University (Graduate) Students... July 7 to August 8
For University (Graduate) Students Whose Own or Direct Ascendant's Address Is in Ulsan
Ulsan City will be accepting applications for the '2025 Second Half Student Loan Interest Support Program for University (Graduate) Students' from July 7 to August 8.
Eligible applicants are students currently enrolled or on leave of absence from a university (or graduate school) whose own or direct ascendant's resident registration address is in Ulsan as of the announcement date (July 7).
The support covers interest accrued from January to June of this year on student loans (tuition and living expenses) borrowed from the Korea Student Aid Foundation since 2017.
Applicants must submit documents such as a copy of their resident registration and a certificate of enrollment (or leave of absence) via the Ulsan City website. Previous recipients must also reapply with the required documents to receive support again.
The results of the selection process will be available on the Korea Student Aid Foundation website in December.
An official from the city stated, "We hope that through this interest support program, many young people will be able to reduce the burden of student loan interest and focus on their studies more stably."
