Ansan City to Establish 'Eco-Friendly Playground' at Bangameori Beach on Daebudo Island
Selected for Noise Countermeasure Area Resident Support Project
Water Survival Experience Facility Also to Be Established
An amusement park for family tourists will be established at Bangameori Beach on Daebudo Island in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.
On July 4, the city of Ansan announced that it had secured 60 million won in project funding after being selected for the 'Noise Countermeasure (Nearby) Area Resident Support Project' organized by Incheon International Airport Corporation. This initiative was implemented by Incheon International Airport Corporation to support noise countermeasures, as well as welfare and income-increasing projects for residents in nearby areas.
With its selection, the city plans to operate an 'eco-friendly playground' and a 'water survival experience' centered around Bangameori Beach in Daebubuk-dong, Danwon-gu, which is included in the noise countermeasure nearby area. These projects aim to revitalize the local economy and increase resident income.
The 'eco-friendly playground' will be designed as a play space where family tourists can enjoy the sea and sunset at Bangameori Beach. A 'water survival experience' will also be provided for family tourists and elementary and middle school students.
The city also plans to link this project with the 'Daebudo Bangameori Sunset Concert,' which is scheduled to be held in the second half of the year.
