Only 52 Units Available Worldwide
On July 3, Mercedes-AMG announced that it is participating as an official promotional partner for the film "F1 The Movie," starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, and to commemorate this, it is introducing a limited edition model, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC Plus (MATIC+) APXGP Edition.
As of July 1, "F1 The Movie," filmed at Formula 1 races, has surpassed a cumulative audience of 580,000 and is currently ranked number one at the box office.
For the production of the film, Mercedes-AMG not only provided the specialized expertise of its Formula 1® team, but also supplied high-performance vehicles and sports car models from its current brand portfolio. On screen, a variety of models appear, including the official Mercedes-AMG FIA F1® Safety Car and Medical Car, as well as the Mercedes-AMG SL, G-Class, and GT.
The "APXGP Edition" is characterized by design elements and equipment details inspired by the APXGP Formula 1® team, a fictional racing team in the film. Only 52 units will be available.
The model features "Race Gold" accents on both the interior and exterior. On the exterior, the combination of "Race Gold" can be seen on signature AMG components such as the radiator grille frame, front wing, side skirts, rear apron, and diffuser blade. The AMG Night Package II adds visual flair with black chrome radiator trim, AMG crest, typography, and the rear Mercedes star.
