Kitajima joined the sales division at Sony headquarters in 1992 and has worked in various roles, including product planning at the Digital Imaging Business Division, digital imaging product marketing at Sony Europe, and product planning at the Video & Sound Business Division of the Home Entertainment Business Group. Starting in 2016, he served as Director of Video & Sound Product Marketing at Sony Asia Pacific, and from January 2021, he led the Personal Entertainment Marketing (PEMK) division of Sony Global Sales & Marketing.
