Yeoju City Holds 1st Architectural Culture Event of 2025 with Citizens
Under the Theme "Architectural Stories with Yeoju Citizens"
Yeoju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chungwoo) announced on the 30th that it held the "1st Architectural Culture Event of 2025," where citizens could share the value and culture of architecture, on the 27th at Yeogang Hall in Yeoju Library.

View original imageThis inaugural event was organized by Yeoju City and hosted by the Yeoju Regional Architects Association to enhance citizens' understanding of architecture and expand interest in architectural culture. Under the themes "Architectural Stories with Yeoju Citizens" and "Connecting Architecture and Citizens," the event featured an architecture seminar and programs for tours of modern and traditional architecture.
More than 30 citizens and over 20 architects participated in the event. In particular, a mentoring session with experts was arranged for high school students aspiring to study architecture, which received an enthusiastic response from the students.

Mayor Lee Chungwoo stated that although today's event marks the beginning, he hopes that architectural culture events will continue to be held so that citizens can take greater interest and participate, and that many beautiful buildings will be established in Yeoju.
