AI and Trade Policy Strategies for Japanese Companies... Samjong KPMG to Host Webinar
Webinar for Japanese Companies on AI Agents and Trade Policy Strategies
Samjong KPMG to Share Key Insights for Enhancing Operational Efficiency and Navigating Tariff Changes
As artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to advance, protectionism intensifies, and global tariff policies undergo significant changes, Samjong KPMG announced on June 30 that it will hold a webinar on these topics for Japanese companies on July 2.
In the first session, Lee Donggeun, Head of the AI Center at Samjong KPMG, will examine case studies of AI agent implementation that are applicable from a corporate perspective and explain key considerations for successful adoption. An AI agent refers to an autonomous intelligent system that performs specific tasks without human intervention.
Lee Donggeun, Head of the AI Center at Samjong KPMG, stated, "The evolution of AI technology is progressing beyond simple automation to a level where it is directly involved in companies' strategic decision-making," and added, "Through this webinar, we hope that Japanese companies will be able to effectively utilize AI agents to enhance operational efficiency and proactively respond to the changing business environment."
In the second session, Kim Mincheol, Executive Director of Tax Advisory at Samjong KPMG, will present strategies for responding to the Trump 2.0 trade policy. In particular, he will discuss tariff reduction measures and risk mitigation strategies for companies exporting from Korea to major markets such as the United States.
Kim Mincheol, Executive Director of Tax Advisory at Samjong KPMG, emphasized, "With President Trump's return to office, uncertainty in the global trade environment is increasing," and continued, "As protectionism strengthens and changes in tariff policies become a reality, it is essential for companies to thoroughly analyze their import and export structures and establish response strategies in advance to secure competitiveness."
