"Helping You Achieve Your Acting Dreams"... Gangseo-gu Launches Theater Class for Office Workers
Applications Accepted Until July 15
First 20 Applicants Will Be Selected
Gangseo-gu in Seoul is recruiting participants for its "Theater Class for Office Workers," offering a chance to pursue dreams of acting.
The theater class will be held at the Noeul Theater in Gangseo-gu Community Center every Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., starting July 21 and running through September 2. Enrollment is limited to the first 20 applicants. Any adult aged 19 or older who works or resides in Gangseo-gu is eligible to apply. The participation fee is 30,000 won.
Participants will have the opportunity to fully express their hidden talents and abilities through acting lessons and practical exercises. Members of the Gangseo-gu Theater Company will serve as professional instructors, providing a variety of theoretical and practical classes, including learning emotional expression, building camaraderie through theater games, script reading and analysis, improvisational performances using everyday objects, and hands-on acting practice and presentations. After the course concludes, participants will showcase the acting skills they have developed in a live performance before an audience.
The performance is scheduled for September 13. The play will be selected based on participants’ gender, age, and other factors. Applications can be submitted online via the Gangseo-gu Office Integrated Reservation website (Events/Culture) until July 15, or by downloading and completing the application form and submitting it in person or via email.
Now in its 19th year, the theater class offers a unique opportunity for participants to experience both theory and practice under the systematic guidance of the Gangseo-gu Theater Company, culminating in a real stage performance.
