A man in his 40s was apprehended by police on charges of violating the Aviation Security Act after causing a disturbance aboard a passenger aircraft in flight.
On June 28, the Jeju Western Police Station announced that they had booked and were investigating a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of violating the Aviation Security Act by shouting loudly and threatening passengers and crew during the flight. Mr. A is accused of yelling and behaving in a threatening manner toward other passengers and crew members on a flight departing from Gimpo International Airport and bound for Jeju International Airport on the afternoon of June 27.
