The campaign, held in cooperation with the Traffic Division, aimed to communicate the importance of crime prevention and compliance with traffic regulations to children in an easy and engaging way.
During the campaign, activities included taking photos with a police patrol car, learning how to use police equipment such as handcuffs and batons, and receiving education on preventing traffic accidents. The main focus was to help children view police officers as friendly and reliable "tall uncles" who keep them safe.
Jeon Ilchae, head of the Yeokjeon Substation, said, "It is meaningful to provide children with an opportunity to experience and learn the importance of traffic safety firsthand," and added, "We will continue to offer customized education and experiential opportunities for children in the future."
