Daegu and Gyeongbuk Public Institutions Join Hands to Build Social Enterprise Ecosystem

View original imageOn June 26, Korea Expressway Corporation signed a business agreement at the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency Daegu Integrated Center with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, Korea Real Estate Board, Korea Student Aid Foundation, Korea Electric Power Technology Co., Korea Transportation Safety Authority, and Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency. The agreement aims to revitalize social enterprises and create social value in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. Local public institutions have agreed to cooperate in order to build an ecosystem for local social enterprises. They will jointly promote projects, work to raise awareness of social enterprises, and increase mutual exchanges. In addition, they will implement the Youth Local Challenger program, which discovers and supports the realization of ideas to solve social issues among young people. Approximately 260 youths from four schools in Daegu and Gyeongbuk will participate in this program.
