Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, and Korail Tourism Development Sign Agreement for Joint DMZ Train Product Development
Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province announced on June 27 that it had signed a business agreement on June 25 in the situation room on the 2nd floor of the main building with Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and Korail Tourism Development Co., Ltd. for the development of a joint Gyeonggi-do DMZ train product aimed at revitalizing tourism resources in the northern metropolitan area.

View original imageThis agreement was promoted to boost the local tourism industry by developing a train product that connects Yeoncheon County's key tourism resources. Under the agreement, the organizations will jointly operate and promote the DMZ Train Yeoncheon course, plan and operate tourism programs, and conduct joint promotional marketing to attract tourists.
Yeoncheon County expects that by utilizing trains, a popular means of transportation, more tourists will visit local attractions.
Kim Deokhyun, Governor of Yeoncheon County, said, "Through collaboration with Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and Korail Tourism Development Co., Ltd., we hope to promote Yeoncheon's tourism resources and create a new route for both domestic and international tourists to visit Yeoncheon."
