View original imageThe Chungcheong Regional Council held a joint legislative training session for council members and staff over two days, starting on June 25, in the Seocheon and Boryeong areas of South Chungcheong Province.
This was the first joint legislative training since the launch of the Chungcheong Regional Council. It was organized to strengthen the capabilities and expertise required for legislative activities, and to promote meaningful operations of the council through open and candid dialogue between council members and staff.
Upon arriving at the 'Songnim Donghwa' training center in Seocheon, South Chungcheong Province, on June 25, participants received an overview of the training schedule. The first session included a lecture on utilizing ChatGPT for council work, followed by a review of overall council operations and a discussion on the future direction of the regional council.
On the second day of the training, participants visited the South Chungcheong Fisheries Resources Research Institute, where they listened to explanations about the development and research of local specialty breeds, new aquaculture technologies, and coastal mudflat ecosystem studies, marking the conclusion of the first legislative training program.
No Geumsik, Chairperson of the Chungcheong Regional Council, stated, "As we have strengthened our legislative capabilities and created an opportunity for communication and unity with our staff, we will continue to strive for a council where members and staff work together with a shared sense of purpose and empathy, and are committed to the development of the Chungcheong region."
