SK Securities Continues "Together Sharing" Campaign for Second Year to Promote Resource Circulation
On June 27, SK Securities announced that it had conducted the "Together Sharing" campaign for the second consecutive year, with the aim of promoting the value of resource circulation and supporting underprivileged groups.
This year's campaign, which was held over two weeks starting from May 28, saw the participation of 248 people who donated approximately 500 items, including books, clothing, and household goods.
The donated items are resold through Beautiful Store locations, and the proceeds are used to support underprivileged neighbors both domestically and abroad. According to SK Securities, this activity resulted in a reduction of approximately 3,765 kgCO₂eq in carbon emissions, which is equivalent to the amount of carbon absorbed in one year by about 29 30-year-old pine trees in the central region.
An SK Securities representative stated, "Many of our members empathized with and participated in the campaign, recognizing that small actions anyone can take can create positive changes for the environment and society," and added, "We will continue to pursue sustainable social contribution activities going forward."
