View original imageThe Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office announced on the 25th that it visited the "Veterans Family Happiness House" with the LG Innotek Labor Union Gwangju Branch, where they delivered a commemorative plaque and offered words of comfort and encouragement.
The "Veterans Family Happiness House" project, which has been funded by 9 million won raised by members of the LG Innotek Gwangju Labor Union since 2007, has supported the renovation of homes for veterans living in poor housing conditions. This year, the project assisted three households, specifically from the 68th to the 70th house.
Lee Gyuchae, head of the LG Innotek Labor Union Gwangju Branch, stated, "This has been a valuable opportunity to express our respect and gratitude for the dedication of our national heroes."
Kim Seokgi, head of the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office, also said, "I am grateful to the employees of LG Innotek for taking the lead in honoring veterans in everyday life," and added, "I hope this housing improvement project will lead to a community-wide effort to honor veterans, in collaboration with local organizations."
