Discussion on Improving the Educational Environment
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province held a parent meeting for the southern district, including Hyangnam, Paltan, Ujeong, Jangan, Yanggam, and Jeongnam, at the Hyangnam Complex Cultural Center on the 24th.

View original imageAt the meeting, the city shared the current status of its major education policies and projects with parents, and listened to their opinions on the educational environment in each region.
During the meeting, parents made several suggestions: extending the rural student admission program and excluding middle schools from school district assignments; improving residential conditions in the Yanggam area; and enhancing commuting conditions, such as school bus routes, sidewalks along school routes, and safety fences. The city plans to prepare improvement measures for these suggestions by consulting with relevant organizations, including the Hwaseong Osan Office of Education.
