View original imageOn June 25, Hanwha Corporation Global Division announced that it established a 'Smart Integrated Control Center' at its Boeun site in North Chungcheong Province in April of last year, and has since been operating real-time safety management for nationwide explosives transportation and storage facilities. The control center monitors the status of explosives transportation in real time via a large control screen and performs comprehensive control functions such as verifying the identity and tracking the location of transporters, as well as managing the status of safety inspections. In addition, the center prevents potential accidents in advance through vehicle anti-theft devices and door-opening alarm systems. Resident security personnel analyze the collected data to develop customized on-site safety measures. Hanwha Corporation Global Division plans to continue improving the quality of its explosives transportation services based on the results of regularly conducted customer satisfaction index (CSI) surveys.
Furthermore, Hanwha Corporation Global Division is expanding the application of its self-developed smart blasting safety management solution, 'HATS (Hanwha As a Total Solution).' HATS is a system that manages blasting sites integrally based on BIM (Building Information Modeling) and digital twin technology. Since its initial implementation at a large cement mine in Gangwon Province in 2023, its use has been expanding to overseas mines such as those in Indonesia, as well as domestic construction sites. This solution automatically detects and collects data generated during operations and transmits it to administrators. It also sends alerts to prevent accidents when anomalies occur or when workers approach hazardous areas.
