Fresh Easy's Heodak Friends Surpasses 8 Million Sales of Nene Chicken Collaboration Products

Over 50 Ready-to-Eat Meal Varieties on Sale
Heodak Friends, a subsidiary of Fresh Easy specializing in ready-to-eat meals, announced on June 25 that cumulative sales of its ready-to-eat products developed in partnership with the chicken brand Nene Chicken have surpassed 8 million units.
Established in 2021, Heodak Friends leverages its expertise in ready-to-eat meal development and distribution to operate a publishing business. The company supports not only leading domestic chicken brands but also various restaurant brands in launching and managing their online ready-to-eat meal businesses.
Nene Chicken, aiming to expand its brand recognition from offline to online, entered into a partnership with Heodak Friends in December 2021. Since then, Heodak Friends has launched five varieties of 'Nene Chicken Nekko Dak Sauce Chicken Breast' (Galbi, Seasoned Chicken, Red Mayo, Cheongyang Mayo, and Jjajang), utilizing Nene Chicken’s signature secret sauces. To date, cumulative sales of these products have exceeded 3.5 million units.
The two companies are focused not only on replicating flavors but also on developing products that reflect health trends. They have introduced innovative products such as chicken breast oatmeal steak made with high-fiber oatmeal and low-sugar bite-sized chicken thigh lines. In total, they have launched approximately 50 varieties of ready-to-eat meals through online channels.
Based on this partnership, Heodak Friends has shown steady sales growth from 2022 to the present, recording cumulative sales of 14 billion KRW.
