A Time of Gratitude and Healing for Veterans
The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Namil Lee) held a 'Beach Train' experience outing event for veterans' families on June 24, with support from the Yeongnam Headquarters of the Korea National Railway (Director Seongseok An) and Haeundae Blueline Park (CEO Jongjin Bae).

View original imageThis event was organized in June, the Month of Patriots and Veterans, to express gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of national patriots and to support a healthy and vibrant later life for veterans' families.
Participants boarded the Beach Train and Sky Capsule, enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery along the Songjeong to Mipo section, spending time for healing and communication.
The Yeongnam Headquarters of the Korea National Railway has continued its steady support in various ways, starting with the delivery of daily necessities kits to veterans' families in 2022 and including Heroes Family scholarship support.
Director Seongseok An stated, "We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices and dedication made for the country, and we will continue to expand cultural and welfare programs for veterans."
The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office said, "Through the 'Veterans Dream for All' initiative in cooperation with the local community, we will raise social awareness of veterans' families and realize 'living veterans affairs in everyday life' with the participation of various stakeholders."
