Enjoy Daily Convenience with a Single App: 'Bucheonin' to Launch Next Month
Bucheon Citizen ID, Public Facility Use, and City Administration News
Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will officially launch the citizen-customized smart city integrated service app 'Bucheonin' on July 1.
'Bucheonin' is a mobile smart city integrated platform based on an electronic citizen ID. It allows users to conveniently access a variety of functions in a single app, including the Bucheon Citizen ID, public facility usage card, contactless parking payment, city administration news, and personalized notifications.
In particular, the Bucheon Citizen ID function enables integrated verification of eligibility for citizens, persons with disabilities, multi-child families, and volunteers, allowing users to easily access various services such as discounts. In addition, when using public facilities such as libraries and sports centers, users can authenticate and check information through the app without a physical card, greatly enhancing convenience.
The contactless payment feature for public parking lots enables automatic discounts and non-face-to-face exits through prepayment in the app, and also provides a benefit of accumulating 5% of the parking fee as parking mileage. Previously, discounts were only available based on vehicle registration information, but with 'Bucheonin', eligibility for discounts for those aged 65 and older and persons with disabilities can be verified, allowing more citizens to conveniently receive discount benefits.
Additionally, 'Bucheonin' integrates previously dispersed public services into a single app, helping citizens easily and quickly find and use the information and services they need in daily life.
After completing verification of the main features, the city began a pilot operation on June 23, and plans to continue improving the app by reflecting citizen feedback and addressing any inconveniences.
