Bukgu District of Gwangju Launches Third Private Sector Task Force for Population Policy and Low Birthrate Response
On June 23, Bukgu District of Gwangju held the inauguration ceremony for the third term of the 'Private Sector Task Force for Population Policy and Low Birthrate Response' and officially launched its activities.
The task force is composed of 33 private sector experts in relevant fields to address population decline and low birthrate issues. It has integrated the previous private sector task force for population policy and the public-private cooperation network for low birthrate response to enhance efficiency.
During their two-year term, the committee members will operate in three subcommittees?work-family balance, marriage and childrearing, and awareness improvement?where they will identify key issues, monitor policies, and conduct campaign activities.
