Gwangsan District in Gwangju Invites Suppliers for Hometown Love Donation Program Return Gifts
In-person Applications Accepted at the District Office Residents’ Autonomy Division Until the 8th of Next Month
Gwangsan District in Gwangju announced on the 23rd that it will publicly recruit suppliers of return gifts for the Hometown Love Donation Program. Applications will be accepted from the 27th of this month until the 8th of next month, and submissions must be made in person at the Residents’ Autonomy Division on the 4th floor of the district office.
Eligible applicants are businesses located in Gwangsan District that produce or manufacture agricultural and livestock products, processed foods, service products, and can supply and deliver them stably. Companies may freely propose the items and prices. The return gift selection committee will make the final selection after a comprehensive review of company evaluations, production and operational capabilities, and business plans.
Through this public recruitment, the district aims to offer donors a variety of local specialty products and to expand sales channels for local small businesses. Park Byungkyu, head of the district office, stated, "This will provide satisfaction to donors and invigorate the local economy," and added, "We hope to see active participation from capable local businesses."
