Express Characters, Landscapes, and Objects Under the Theme of "Y Universe"
KT will select and support 10 young artists in the fields of illustration, Instagram webtoons, and video content.
On June 23, KT announced the launch of recruitment for the fourth cohort of the "Y Artist Label" as part of the "Y Artist Project." The Y Artist Project is an initiative led by KT's youth-oriented brand "Y," aimed at discovering emerging artists and providing opportunities for content creation through various collaborations.
This fourth round of recruitment expands beyond the existing fields of illustration and Instagram webtoons to include video-based content such as motion graphics and Reels webtoons, selecting a total of 10 artists. Anyone in their 20s or 30s residing in Korea is eligible to apply. Selected artists will participate in illustration work for KT Studio Genie dramas scheduled to air in the second half of the year, as well as brand collaboration design, Y goods production, Y Instagram webtoon content creation, and Y brand marketing visual communications, among other activities.
The theme of the competition is "Y Universe," and participants can submit works freely expressing their own characters, landscapes, or objects through the official Y website until July 6.
