View original imageOn the 21st, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, "Nineteen South Korean nationals who were staying in Iran have safely arrived in Turkmenistan by land this afternoon using transportation provided by the government." Among those evacuated were one administrative staff member of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Iran and five family members of embassy staff.
Including those who had evacuated earlier, a total of 56 people had left Iran as of this date.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "To support the safe evacuation of our nationals, we provided necessary consular assistance such as support with immigration procedures, local accommodation, and guidance on return flights." The ministry added, "The government will continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of South Korean nationals residing in the region."
