Two Promotions Including Kim Jinyeon as Director of Planning and Coordination
Comprehensive Reshuffle Includes Department Head Transfers and Township Appointments
Uiseong County in North Gyeongsang Province (Governor Kim Jusu) has carried out a regular personnel reshuffle for 14 senior officials, effective July 1, 2025.
This personnel move focused on enhancing organizational stability and administrative efficiency, and consists of 2 promotions, 8 transfers, and 4 acting appointments.
The county expects that this reshuffle will enable it to strengthen its planning and coordination functions and establish a more systematic organizational management system centered on public livelihood, welfare, and field operations.
◆ Promotions
In this reshuffle, Kim Jinyeon, Director of the Tourism and Welfare Bureau, has been promoted to Director of Planning and Coordination, taking charge of core policy functions. Min Kyungyeol, Director of Rural Development, has been promoted to Director of Agricultural Policy at the Agricultural Technology Center, assuming practical responsibility for regional agricultural policy.
◆ Department Head Transfers Transfers of department heads to strengthen the overall functions of the organization
Lee Gwangdae, Director of Social Security (Tourism and Welfare Bureau); Son Kyungsook, Director of Health Promotion (Public Health Center); Lee Seunghwan, Director of Facility Management Office; Shin Seungho, Director of Uiseong Jomunguk Museum; Kim Juhyung, Head of Danchon-myeon; Kim Chunsik, Head of Danmil-myeon; Lee Jaechun, Head of Sinpyeong-myeon; and Kim Sangha, Head of Ansa-myeon.
With experienced personnel assigned to key departments and township-level administrations, the county expects to see improved responses to local issues and qualitative enhancement of administrative services for residents.
◆ Acting Appointments In addition, to foster next-generation leaders and ensure organizational continuity, the county has appointed the following four as acting department heads:
Yoon Hyunjoo, Acting Director of Youth Policy (Tourism and Welfare Bureau); Lee Kangheon, Acting Director of Architecture (Safety and Environment Bureau); Cho Narae, Acting Director of Forest and Greenery (Safety and Environment Bureau); and Kim Changsu, Acting Head of Jeomgok-myeon.
An official from Uiseong County stated, "This personnel reshuffle is focused on enhancing the organization's dynamism and responsiveness by assigning talented individuals with both expertise and field experience," adding, "We will continue to pursue optimal personnel strategies to further the development of county administration and improve the quality of life for our residents."
