Enforcement Decree of the Nursing Act Approved at Cabinet Meeting... To Take Effect from the 21st
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 19th that the Enforcement Decree of the Nursing Act was approved at a Cabinet meeting.
This is intended to specify matters delegated by the Nursing Act, which was enacted on September 20 last year. Matters related to nursing personnel and relevant organizations, such as the national examinations for nurses and nursing assistants and the composition of the Central Nurses Association, which were previously stipulated in the Enforcement Decree of the Medical Service Act and other regulations, have been transferred.
Additionally, new regulations have been established regarding the founding of the Nursing Assistants Association and the formulation of annual implementation plans for nursing policy.
The Enforcement Rules of the Nursing Act, which are scheduled to be enacted along with the Enforcement Decree, newly include provisions on the composition and operation of the Nursing Policy Deliberation Committee and the implementation and methods of education to prevent human rights violations.
