"Volunteer Power Fully Recharged"... Yangsan Volunteer Organization Leaders Workshop
The Yangsan Volunteer Center in Gyeongnam (Director: Na Dongyeon) held a workshop for volunteer organization leaders from Yangsan City over two days, June 14 and 15, in the Namhae-gun area of Gyeongnam.
This workshop was organized to provide volunteers with an opportunity to recharge, foster unity among volunteers, and explore ways to further develop volunteer activities. More than 50 volunteer organization leaders and volunteers participated in the event.
The volunteers visited the Namhae-gun Garlic and Korean Beef Festival, where they stopped by the Namhae-gun Volunteer Center booth to interact with local volunteers. In the evening, they attended a volunteer seminar, where participants shared experiences related to inter-organizational exchange and volunteer activities.
Additionally, participants visited the Yi Sun-sin Marine Park and Seolli Skywalk, immersing themselves in nature to relax both body and mind, boost their energy for daily life, and experience meaningful moments of communication, empathy, and sharing.
A representative from the Yangsan Volunteer Center stated, "We hope that, after recharging at this workshop, our volunteers will continue to serve the community with renewed energy. We will do our best to prepare an even more enriching workshop for volunteer organization leaders next year to further boost volunteer morale."
